Hey there, rebels and rockstars! At BOWIE Shop, we want you to be 100% stoked about your gear—whether it’s a David Bowie tee, an American West blanket, or some exotic wildlife merch. But we get it: sometimes things don’t work out. Maybe the fit’s not right, or the design doesn’t scream “you” like you thought it would.

No worries! Our returns and exchanges policy is as straightforward as a killer guitar riff. Read on to learn how we make things right when your order doesn’t rock your world.

THE BASICS

We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of you receiving your items. All returned items must be:

  • In original condition (unworn, unwashed, with tags attached)
  • In the original packaging
  • Accompanied by your original order confirmation or receipt

WHAT CAN’T BE RETURNED?

We’re pretty flexible, but for hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Blankets & Towels (from our BLANKETS N TOWELS category) that have been removed from their original packaging
  • Any intimate apparel or clothing items without their original tags
  • Items that show signs of wear, damage, or alteration

HOW TO RETURN OR EXCHANGE

Follow these steps to initiate your return or exchange:

  1. Email us at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order
  2. Include the details using our template below (makes everything faster!)
  3. Wait for approval – we’ll respond within 2 business days with instructions
  4. Package your items securely and ship to our address (we’ll provide this)
  5. Keep your tracking number – we’re not responsible for lost return packages

Heads up: Return shipping costs are on you, unless we messed up (wrong item or defective). For exchanges, we’ll cover the shipping to send your new item once we receive the return.

RETURN/EXCHANGE REQUEST TEMPLATE

REFUNDS

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Timing: Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
  • Method: Funds will be returned to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Deductions: Original shipping costs are non-refundable (unless we made an error)

Note: Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account—usually 3-10 business days after we process it.

EXCHANGES

Want a different size, color, or design? No problem! The process is the same as returns:

  1. Follow the return process to send back your original item
  2. Once we receive it, we’ll ship your new item within 1-2 business days
  3. We’ll email you the tracking info for your replacement item

If the exchange item costs more, we’ll invoice you for the difference. If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference.
